No-Cook Bars

Ingredients

  • 60 ml (¼ cup) honey
  • 30 ml (2 Tbsp) cocoa powder
  • 125 ml (½ cup) dried cranberries
  • 80 ml (⅓ cup) unsweetened coconut
  • 375 ml (1 ½ cup) oats
  • 125 ml (½ cup) unsweetened apple sauce

Equipment

  • Square pan
  • Large bowl
  • Wooden spoon

Directions

  1. Grease an 8″ square pan and dust with flour. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients using a wooden spoon.
  3. Poor the mix into the pan and press down using a wet fork.
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  5. Keep in the fridge.

Tips

Meal planning

  • Use the weekends to bake homemade cookies or muffins. You can easily freeze them in individual serving sizes for snacks for the week ahead.
