Ingredients
- 1/2 red bell pepper
- 1 green onions, whole
- 1 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 bunch of fresh parsley, with stems
- 30 ml (2 Tbsp) olive oil
- 15 ml (1 Tbsp) white vinegar
- 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) ground thyme
- 45 ml (3 Tbsp) of water
- 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) salt
- Pepper to taste

- Measuring cup and spoons
- Spatula
- Electric mixer
- Cooking plate
Directions
- Wash, trim and coarsely chop the bell pepper, green onions, garlic and parsley (with its stems, nothing is wasted in Haiti).
- Put all the ingredients in the container of the electric blender and reduce to a smooth purée. If necessary, scrape the sides of the container with a rubber spatula. Set aside.
Use this recipe to prepare Creole meatballs and spicy tomato sauce.
