Thank you to the entire 2017 summer staff at Centre Landry and congratulations on your 2nd place finish in the Physical Activity category.

Description and organisation

Create at least 2 teams. The number of teams and number of players on each team will depend on the number of campers. Each team get a list of hints to 12 locations where they must complete challenges to receive a puzzle piece.

Example: Go to the tallest tree in the park.

The challenges are up to your imagination and your available resources but here are a few suggestions:

  • Climb up a slide.
  • Form the first letter of your name with your body.
  • Climb to touch a target.
  • Win a round of (any game) against the counselor.
  • Using Shape Up food cards, ask the campers to identify the food items that belong to the meat and alternatives group.

Once all the locations are found and the challenges complete, the campers put the puzzle together to discover the mystery image. Every group has a different image. When all the groups are done, everyone gets together to search the park for 14 puzzle pieces. Once all the pieces have been found, the image on the entire day camp’s puzzle reveals the next activity.
