Description and organisation

Each child receives a paper plate and draws their favorite meal. Then, he or she is asked to present their work to the other children.

After that, a lively discussion may follow based on the questions posed by the facilitator (e.g. how many food groups can you find on your plate?

Which foods from the dairy group are represented?) Having a varied, colorful, and balanced diet is the message we want to pass on at this workshop.

At the end of the day, the children will be able to go back home with their plates and show their parents what they’ve created.
